1.2 ! felicia 3: The Detailed Problem Analysis gives you detailed statistics and graphs
! 4: of student performance on option response problems. For example, you can learn that many
! 5: of your students set a particular foil to true when it is really false.
! 6: With this information you can give your students feedback in order
! 7: to help them better learn the concept the problem assesses. You are
! 8: given the option to choose to analyze your data over tries or time,
! 9: analyze your data as concepts or foils, and select how many plots
! 10: of the data you wish to view. Help links are provided on the the Detailed
! 11: Problem Analysis screen which explain these options, in summary:
1.1 matthew 12:
1.2 ! felicia 13: \begin{enumerate}
! 14: \item Analysis over \textbf{Tries} results in each plot showing the results of
1.1 matthew 15: a specific attempt by all students, meaning the first plot will show the
16: results of the first attempt by all students, the second will show the
17: results of the second attempt, and so on. Those students who get the
18: problem right on the first attempt won't have a second attempt so the
19: amount of data for each plot will decrease.
20:
1.2 ! felicia 21: \item Analysis over \textbf{Time} results in each plot showing the results of
! 22: all attempts made during specified intervals.
! 23: \end{enumerate}
