        !             3: In a bulletin board or resource in which there
        !             4: has been discussion, display settings will determine:
        !             5: (a) which posts are displayed, and
        !             6: (b) which are marked as 'NEW'.

        !             9: to remain marked as 'NEW' until you explicitly mark them as read.
