    4: To send a Broadcast Message to the course, do the following:

    9: \textbf{Send and display messages} on the Main Menu.

   12: \textbf{New Broadcast Message}.
   13: \item Select the students to receive the message.
   14: \item Add any additional recipients.
   15: \item Type your message in the text box.
   16: \item If this is a critical message, check ``Send as a critical message, '' see \ref{Course_Critical_Message}.
