HEAD
Correcting typos that were preventing the course manual from building.
\label{Course_Disable_Discussion}
By default, all users of a course can use the discussion features
LON-CAPA provides. Only Course Coordinators have permission to disable
discussion for a course. A Course Coordinator can also disallow
resource discussion for specific roles or specific users.
\begin{enumerate}
\item At the \textbf{User Role} screen, select the role of Course
Coordinator for the course.
\item Click \textbf{PARM} on the remote control.
\item At the \textbf{Set Course Parameters} screen, click
\textbf{Set Course Environment}.
\item Scroll down to \textbf{Disallow Resource Discussion for Roles}
or \textbf{Disallow Discussion for User}.
\item To disallow resource discussion for specific roles, enter a
comma-separated list of roles, for example: \texttt{st, ts}. This will
disable course discussion for the specified roles. To disallow
discussion for a specific user, enter \texttt{username:domain}.
\item Check the \textbf{Set} field if not checked.
\item Click \textbf{Set Course Environment}.
\end{enumerate}
These changes take effect the next time affected users enter the course.
