                     13: default for math rendering\index{math renderng} is to convert using the display 
                     14: mechanism that the user has selected in preferences.
                     15: This can be overriden by setting the attribute display to one of \textbf{tth} or 
                     16: \textbf{jsMath} or
                     17: \textbf{mimetex} which will force a specfic display mechanism. Note, however, that setting
                     18: the attribute display to jsmath is generally discouraged as it requires users to have
