                      3: parameters.  From that screen, you can edit either edit the course
                      4: environment, or the course parameters.

                      6: The course enviroment contains several parameters that apply directly
                      7: to the course as a whole.

                      9: The other parameters in the course apply with varying granularities to
                     10: the components of the course, such as maps, problems, and students.

                     12: You can display parameters for the entire course (top-level

                     14: you can choose to set parameters, due dates for example, on three

1.1       bowersj2   23: problem you want to set parameters for under the \textbf{for Resource} heading.

                     26: The last heading says \textbf{Parameter in Effect}. 
                     27: Under this heading is the actual parameter being used. The \emph{most
                     28:   specific} parameter is what will be used for any given resource.
