Annotation of loncom/html/adm/help/tex/Docs_Radio.tex, revision 1.2
1.2 ! webbsuza 1: \label{Docs Radio}
! 2: This is a question where students can choose only one correct answer
! 3: from a selection. Each choice in the selection is called a "foil" because
! 4: the majority of the selection choices try to foil the student. Only
! 5: one foil is correct. LON-CAPA randomly displays the foils to students. If you choose to set the max number of displayed foils to
! 6: 4, but only have 6 foils then LON-CAPA will choose one of the True
! 7: foils and fill in the rest of the foils with false foils, up to a maximum
! 8: of four foils. To edit the 1 out of N multiple choice problem, enter
! 9: your question text into the appropriate box. Then enter one foil statement
! 10: into each foil box you want to use. You do not have to use
! 11: all 10 of the foil boxes. For each foil you do use, you
! 12: need to assign it a value of True or False. You can choose to assign a foil
! 13: a location. For example, the foils apear in random
! 14: order to your students. If you have a foil statement of {}"None
! 15: of the above," then you want this statement to always appear
! 16: at the bottom. After entering all of the correct foil text, you can
! 17: add an optional hint. The hint text appears under the student's
! 18: view of the problem after getting one incorrect submission. The hint
! 19: text remains displayed on your students' views of the problem after
! 20: it is correct, for study purposes. At any point in the editing process,
! 21: you can choose to store your changes. Each time you click \fbox{Store Changes}
! 22: , the current view of the problem will appear in box at the top of
! 23: the edit screen. When finished editing, click the \fbox{Store Changes}
! 24: button and close the window by selecting the {}``x'' in the upper
! 25: right-hand corner of the window.
