There are three nested levels of spreadsheets inside LON-CAPA: a Course Spreadsheet, \index{course level spreadsheet} a Student Spreadsheet, and various Assessment Spreadsheets. The Course spreadsheet provides an overview of student performance and links to each student's details.
The Student Spreadsheet configures how the overall course grade is to be calculated. Each graded item can
be configured using an Assessment Spreadsheet to specify how the problem parameters are to be evaluated.
