steps to go through when demonstrating LON-CAPA
to others for the first time

A set of steps to demo LON-CAPA

I am going through these steps
to create a brief violin playing course.
Other demo courses might also be
built in the future.

Current demo work is on deepthought.lite.msu.edu

  (these are just my ideas, Guy and Gerd may have more well-thought
   out suggestions)
  + "quite a number of different universities and colleges
     are going to be using this software system in the fall"
  + "has been used successfully this spring"
  + "this is an educational tool developed for and by scholars"
  + "funded by NSF"
  + "the only associated costs are for having personnel
     to apply periodic software updates and system maintenance
     (you do not have to pay licensing fees)"
  + "has a friendly programming support team at Michigan State
     with other developers joining in from other institutions"
+ has a wide range of extra support features (for students to generate
  bookmarks, search through the catalog of other educational resources,
  etc)
