To add an announcement to the calendar, do the following: 

\begin{enumerate}

\item Select 
\includegraphics[width=0.03\paperwidth]{anno}
\textbf{Course announcements an my calendar} on the Main Menu.
\item Using the pull-down menus, choose a starting time and an ending
time. 
\item Type the announcement in the text box and click the 
\textbf{Post Announcement} button. 
The announcement will now appear on the specific date(s)
on the calendar. Today's announcements has a yellow background. It will also show up on the \textbf{Roles}
screen, next to the respective courses, and on the \textbf{Syllabus}
screen as the date approaches.
