Fix Extended Display for non-LCD mode

Saving my work: internationalize static html files.

EVAL and FDKB windows would come up in the same size as the Remote on some
browsers.

Have very limited connectivity, need to do big commit while online.

Attempt to fix quadruplicate bug 1178: when using browser URL field of
main content window to go to an external site, JavaScript security model
disconnects all access the Remote could have to it, including the one to
even find out if it has access.

Implemented flag "noclient" in the Remote which gets set in an unLoad event of
the main window (ignoring the fact that unLoad is kaputt in some browser
versions).

This all seems to work great on Mozilla, but I am sure there will be stupid
side effects in some odd scenarios.

Cannot post symb to NAV under the name of "symb", since that parameter is
reserved for the symb of the resource you are looking at - lonacc chokes on
that.

Continued work on "inline" Remote

Closing the remote sets user environment variable on whether or not the Remote
should be on

- making it easy to moke the port lonhttpd is on, now a config option in loncapa_apache.conf, probably should be moved to loncapa.conf and added to the install questions
- added tag <LONCAPA_INTERNAL_LONHTTPD_PORT /> that gets replaced by a bit of javascript that sets the var lonhttpdport to the correct value
- lonhttpd reads the conf files on start up ad configures intself to the proper port, if the port is set to 80 it exits assuming that Apache is running there
- header image references reference the proper port
- finally making use of the fact that menu.html is parsed before sent out

- everything assumes a default value of 8080 if it can't find a set value

Bug #1253
Attempting to get a better handle on the timing of loading a blank window.
This might be helpful in other occassional weirdness situations, for example
in the Full RAT.

Slightly ridiculous over use of window.status, but apparently the only way
to nail down where "Unspecified Errors" happen in Internet Explorer.

Attempt to work on bug #1205 by changing the timing of events at login for the
remote. Also, trying to isolate remote-related code into lonmenu.pm so that
alternative remotes/navigation become easier to implement later.

Fix bug 262.  lonxml.pm now checks to see if you have permissions to edit
the currently view resource.  mydesk.tab no longer calls cstrgo in menu.html
so cstrgo and is_editable_resource (javascript functions) have been
removed from menu.html.  lonmenu.pm was cleaned up.
This has been tested for authors and co-authors and across domains.

People did not realize that they could click on the buttons in the Extended
Remote.

Extended Remote automatically closes when content outdated.

Extended display works now.

Cool - you can make a one-time-use function if you name a window handler
the same name.

Extended display in the making. Already works once.

Get small GIFs from lonhttpd

Removed historical call to non-existent subroutine.

The wonderful "You got messages" display.

Wrong image path

Logic on is_editable was reversed.
Substituted regular expressions and "replace" with pedestrian "split" and
"join" to work with older browsers.

"showdoc" needs to be URL-encode like all the other functionality in order to
properly register with the remote. Remote has now additional fields to store symb, but
nothing is done with them yet. Eventually, this should improve navigation and contents
display for resources showing up multiple times.

Fixes the second part of bug 562. We don't want the whole URL, query string
and all, we just want the pathname. (When you clicked on a link in the
nav map, it includes a symb on the querystring, which messed up
window.location.href.)

Oops, initial LON-CAPA font also needed moving

Move LCD font to avoid log file inflation for running clock while logged out.

Fix ugly mozilla rendering by lying about the height of 'spacer.gif'.

Date representation is different on Exploder than on Netscape and Mozilla.

Added printout to construction space menu.

Printout handler gets complete URL, e.g.,

http://picard.lite.msu.edu/~korte/bar/foo.html

Doing timeout is not precise enough to keep a clock going on many systems.
On sync, figure out time difference between client and server, use client
clock and apply delta instead.

Bug 461.
Introduce explicit reloadURL.

Insert date on top and fix problem with focus being given to remote on
time advance. Nice "float" effect on Linux, but problem on PC and Mac.

Little clock - does not sync with server yet. Next step.

Work on bug 219.  Tested on NS 4.x, 6.x, mozilla, IE, on mac, linux, microsoft.

Fix bug 439.  Check value versus null as well as empty string.

Bug 227.   Again.  Handled this time by splitting the url at '.'s and
checking for a number near the end.  Thanks Gerd.

Removal of changes made in last commit because javascript is a bitch.

Bug 227, CRST button took user to stupid page if they have a specific version
of a resource in their sequence (example: exam_1_2.4.problem).  Now we check
for /\.(\d+)\.(\w+)$/ and head to the default construction space instead.

Initialize values to '' instead of null.  The browsers seem to handle going
to url '' better than url null.  BUG 385.

Minor logic cleanup.

Added javascript function cstrgo.  This requires setting currentURL=null
by default in lonxml.pm.

Logs out again when window closed - IE on Mac is messed up anyway

Stupid changes to remove javascript warnings.  This will help me maintain
my sanity as I try to debug javascript.

dempty.gif to empty.gif for the new pref and exit buttons.

Changed final row (row 10) to be 3 wide instead of 2 wide.  This is required
